ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday called Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and denounced the terrorist attack in Kabul. The premiers also expressed his profound grief over loss of lives in the terror incident. The prime minister talked with Ashraf Ghani on the phone and condemned in strongest terms the terrorist attack in Kabul. “The people and the government of Pakistan stand by their Afghan brethrens in this hour of grief. We will continue cooperation with the Afghan government to weed out terrorism,” Nawaz said, according to a statement issued here on Monday. “The terrorism menace is a common enemy of both Pakistan and Afghanistan,” said the prime minister underlined. The Afghan president thanked the prime minister for expressing solidarity with the Afghan people. “Both Afghanistan and Pakistan are facing terrorism and the two countries stand by each other in war on terror,” said Ashraf Ghani.
