ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) nabbed a culprit – and his accomplices – involved in stealing over 150 vehicles from several cities, police spokesman said on Monday. A team led by ACLC Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali arrested Abdul Jamil of Peshawar while his other accomplices – identified as Rizwan and Abdul Majid – had been already arrested. They confessed of stealing 150 vehicles from cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Jehlum and Chakwal. However, three vehicles have been recovered from them and further investigation is underway from them. Police is hopeful for more recovery from them.
