ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has called the first meeting of the Parliamentary committee to formulate the Terms of References (TORs)on Panama Papers on Wednesday. According to the National Assembly Secretariat spokesman, the meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the chamber of the speaker. The formal notification for the meeting will be issued today. The six names that are finalized by the government and sent to the NA speaker to be included in the TORs committee are Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif,Senator Hasil Bazinjo, Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar,Anusha Rahman and Akram Khan Durrani. The committee will include twelve members, six members each from the government and the joint opposition.The joint opposition has already proposed names of their six members including Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Barrister Saifullah, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ilyas Bilour, Tariqullah and Tariq Bashir Cheema. The resolution for the twelve member committee was debated and approved by the National Assembly on Thursday.
