KARACHI: Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two alleged target killers in Saudabad. On a tip-off, the police raided a hideout in Saudabad and arrested the two target killers identified as Aijaz and Dilshad Shajju, who were affiliated with a political party. During the initial investigation, the target killers confessed to killing 78 people including workers of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi. The suspect also confessed to land grabbing, extortion and other several crimes of heinous nature. Shajju was also wanted in the killing of former governor Hakeem Saeed. Shajju also confessed to collecting extortion from cable operators, factory owners and shop keepers. Further investigation is under way, the police said.
