SRINAGAR: Indian forces killed three unarmed civilians in Pulwama during a fierce overnight gunfight in India-held Kashmir on Thursday, the Kashmir Media Service reported. The three citizens were martyred in Pulwama district’s Kaakpoora vicinity where Indian forces used explosives to destroy a house. Abdul Hameed, Shariq Ahmed, and Irshad Ahmed lost their lives in the explosion, the KMS reported. Ever since the death of Burhan Wani, a top commander with Hizbul Mujahideen in July last year, Kashmiri freedom fighters have increasingly met Indian forces in armed encounters across the valley.
