ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police has demanded Rs 460 million for covering the likely expenses being incurred in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest. According to details, the federal police demanded Rs 10.7 million for covering their lodging expenses, Rs 18.5 million has been requested to cover their fuel charges. For covering their stationary expenses, the capital police demanded one million rupees. The transportation charges were forecasted to be Rs 64.1 million, reveals the expense sheet of capital police. In addition, Rs 93 million for food charges and Rs 273.3 million have been demanded for miscellaneous expenses by the Islamabad police. Meanwhile, the federal police also demanded the outstanding expenses of previous the sit-in that amounted to Rs 50 million. Islamabad Inspector General (IG) Tariq Masood Yasin has written a letter to the Interior Ministry in this regard.
