ISLAMABAD – The capital city police have received orders to arrest former Senate chairman Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari from his house, a private TV channel reported on Thursday. Inspector General Tariq Masood had ordered Bokhari’s arrest after the police registered an FIR against him here at the F-8 police station on Wednesday. Earlier on Thursday, Magistrate Jawad Hussain the arrest warrants of the former Senate chief and ordered to arrest him and present before the court. Earlier, media reports stated that Bokhari tortured a policeman, but latest footages revealed that Bukhari’s son slapped an on-duty cop after being asked for a body search.
