ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has forecast rain at scattered places in different parts of the country today (Friday). Rain-thunderstorm is likely at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, D.I Khan divisions and FATA, while at isolated places in upper Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Zhob division, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country, Met Office added.According to synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. A westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely to affect during next 24 hours.
