SARGODHA: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Danish Afzaal has imposed a ban on illegal use of loud-speaker in the district under Section 144. The ban will be imposed from 1st of Muharram, the DCO said and added that the directions have also been issued for removing wall-chalking and banners from the area while sale and purchase of audio and video cassettes of objectionable speeches would also be banned. He said that under Section 144, speeches and slogans which promote sectarianism would not be allowed while show of prohibited weapons and distribution of negative literature would not be allowed. The ban has also imposed on gathering of people at rooftops on the path of Muharram processions.
