KARACHI: As many as four people were killed in separate incidents of the metropolis, rescuers said on Wednesday. An unidentified body of 45 years old man was recovered from drain near Ziauddin Hospital Clifton in the jurisdiction of Boat Basin Police Station. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident. In another incident, a man identified as Sohail Mumtaz sustained multi bullet injuries and succumbed to death in Gulshan Iqbal, Block-2 while dacoits fled from the scene. About two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the proximity of Boat Basin and Zaman Town Police stations. First incident took place at Mai Kolochi Road when a car rammed a pedestrian identified as Zanjee, son of Bheemjee. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Another road accident occurred in Korangi where a man identified as Hasan, son of Lahori Matkay Wala, fell from a small bridge in the jurisdiction of Zaman Town Police Station.
