MUMBAI: Indian singer Sonu Nigam, who will undergo a knee surgery on June 7, said that he just wants to take a break for a fitter future. The 42-year-old singer earlier underwent osteotomy, the surgical cutting of a bone especially to allow realignment, and will again undergo a second surgery soon. When asked if he is not keeping well, he said that he was very much at home. “Had a surgery called osteotomy done two and a half months back. Thus, limited mobility. I will get a second surgery done soon. Just want to take this break for a fitter future,” he said over text message. He is likely to undergo surgery on his left knee. Also, he is said to have cancelled all his concerts till he recovers completely. According to reports, the surgery has been necessitated because Sonu Nigam has been playing Squash without proper guidance.
