DEEPIKA PADUKONE — Deepika Padukone in ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ song “Badtameez dil” was the talk of the town because of her sari. Deepika is known as a fashion icon in Bollywood, and her fashion style was noticed the most. She wore a royal blue coloured sari in a western style. Her attitude and confidence in a saree stole the show in the “Badtameez dil” song. This sari was definitely the most popular sari of 2013. Even in Titli song from ‘Chennai Express’, she was adorable. The south Indian tradition, white with golden border sari, stole million hearts. KAREENA KAPOOR — Kareena Kapoor donned a red sari in ‘Ra One’. Her look in “the Chammak challo” song was amazing. Even in ‘Chameli’, she was seen in a red sari with a floral blouse throughout the film. Kareena Kapoor played a sex worker in the movie and the sari enhanced her sensuality and curves in every frame. She carried it off really well in the song “Bhagere mann kahi”. KATRINA KAIF — Katrina Kaif in “Teri Ore” song donned a black netted sari with a red embroidered, and looked damn sexy. Katrina Kaif’s tall frame gave a sari a very sensuous look. Akshay Kumar and Kaif’s chemistry in the songs was too hot. Not only red, but all coloured saris suit Kaif. She wore a dark pink, yellow, black sari in “Gale Lag Jaa” and a blue sari in “Teri Ore”. MADHURI DIXIT — “Dhak dhak” girl Madhuri Dixit looked adorable in royal purple coloured sari in the song “Didi tere devar deewana” from ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?’ The purple sari she wore became such a hit, that every single lady in India tried to copy her style. After the song came out, the sari became every woman’s dream sari and sold like hot cakes in the market. SRIDEVI — Sridevi was seen in saris in most of her movies. Remember, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chandni’, among others? In ‘Mr India’, there was the legendary romantic song “Kaate nahin katate” opposite Anil Kapoor. Sridevi wore a blue chiffon sari and in ‘Chandni’, in the song “Tere Mere Hooton”, she wore a yellow sari and showed that even a sari can make you look sexy.
