Varun Dhawan fans and Salman Khan Fans, there’s a surprise waiting for both of you. David Dhawan’s comical film Judwaa back in 1997 has been rehashed into ‘Judwaa 2’, with two original songs ‘Tan Tana Tan’ and ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ adopted for the rehashed version of the movie. ‘Judwaa 2’ stars Varun Dhawan in the leading role, which was previously played by Salman Khan in the original version of the movie. David Dhawan revealed that Salman is always there for them. “Salman is all heart. When we need him, he’ll be there,” he stated. After making this statement, he informed the media that Salman Khan will be making a guest appearance in either one of the songs that are taken from the original movie. “The plan is to give fans of the original a moment of nostalgia by showing him groove to his own song, but it’s yet to be decided which of the two songs he will appear in.The number will also feature the new leads, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The songs will be filmed in a Mumbai studio once Varun and Taapsee are done with the upcoming 40-day UK schedule in April,” stated a source associated with film. Varun Dhawan pressed that it is a surprise for people and that the team is trying to keep the surprise intact.”It’s a surprise, let it remain a surprise. People will be happy with it. All I can say is we are working on it. We are all aware it’s a big responsibility and we will try and do our best”, he added. Varun had teamed up with his father after film ‘Main Tera Hero’, after three years, at that movie released in 2014. “My father didn’t launch me because he’s never launched anybody and he wouldn’t make an exception for me. He only took me in ‘Main Tera Hero’ after my first film did well and he’s only making another film with me now after eight of my films have done well. That’s how my family thinks. I have seen the ups and downs my father went through in his career while I was growing up, I respect that.” Varun’s rowdy character in the movie will be introduced through a Ganpati song which will serve as the film’s opening number.
