Today is the 45th birthday of Lollywood superstar Reema Khan. She was introduced by the Pakistani film director Javed Fazil in his film “Bulandi” in 1990. During her journey in Lollywood, she has appeared in more than 200 movies. Reema Khan is known as the “Dream Girl” and one of the highest paid actress of Pakistan film industry. She has bagged many awards during her career such as Goodwill Ambassador Award, Lux Style Award for Best Actress, Lux Style Award for the Best Director and Lux Style Award for LUX Icon of Beauty. She has also won the coveted Nigar award seven times. Reema has also worked as a director and producer, her debut film , Koi Tujh Sa Kahanwas released in Pakistan and overseas. The film won the Lux Style award for the best fim in 2006. Koi Tujh Sa Kahan was my first film as director and I am proud that it was the first Pakistani film to be a hit in the overseas market on such a big scale. It was released with 12 prints in UK and Canada and did good business, said Reema. Her film Love Mein Ghum was also a hit at the box office and was nominated for Best Film Of The Year 2010 on Pakistan Media awards in 2011. Later in 2011, Reema Khan married a Pakistani-American cardiologist S. Tariq Shahab and they have one child.
