Parisian chic — ooh la la, Kate’s Chanel frock is out of most people’s price range, but this design has become one of our favourites – it went down well in the French capital too. The chic Chanel dress from the fall-winter 2015/2016 collection is no longer available, but you can still get your hands on the belt that Kate paired the outfit with as it’s from their most recent spring/summer 2017 collection. It retails for a whopping £685 though – we’ll take two, of course. Kate looks to Jackie O for style inspiration — the Duchess of Cambridge visited Ronald MacDonald House, Evelina London back in February, wearing a blue coloured Rebecca Taylor suit. The tweed two piece with its dainty collar detail and frayed edges could have fallen straight out of Jackie O’s wardrobe. She even makes tweed accessories look modern — the Duchess was even seen wearing tweed shoes by J Crew back in 2016, which is an ideal way to channel the trend if you don’t want to wear the fabric head to toe. Take a leaf out of Kate’s style book and wear with a white blazer. The Duchess does D&G — this tweed skirt is a little short for Kate’s usual midi standards, but paired with a simple silky blouse it’s a great look on her. The Dolce & Gabbana skirt, was a smart choice for an editorial meeting about Young Minds Matter at the Huffington Post last year. A timeless classic — there is no denying tweed is a timeless investment – especially if it has Chanel written on the label. We spotted the Duchess wearing this blue Michael Kors coat for the second time. She previously wore the design back in 2014, and we doubt it’s the last we’ll see of it.
