San Diego: There were rumours that Warner Bros and DC would light up its marathon on Saturday morning with a first glimpse of the upcoming Justice League movie and the studio wasn’t disappointed. Though the members of the League did little more than come out and wave, the nearly three minutes of footage more than made up for it. Both DC and Director Zack Snyder have apparently listened to the complaints about the grim Batman vs Superman, there’s a slightly lighter tone to the current proceedings and judging from Ezra Miller’s goofy take on the Flash, he’s likely to ‘run away’ with the ‘MVP’ title of DC Universe battle. While Man of Steel and its sequel have been largely criticised by their dismal feel, Justice League seems to be taking a cue from Suicide Squad. The trailer contrasts from “Batman v Superman”, which was heavily criticised for its dark tone. At one point in the preview, Batman asks Aquaman, smiling mischievously, “I hear you can talk to fish?” It makes it look like the movie could actually be fun. The trailer starts with Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, hunting down Aquaman (Jason Mamoa), presumably putting together the team of warriors. From there, nearly all the big names get a moment to shine, including Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and The Flash (Ezra Miller). Though some questions still remain about Superman’s whereabouts but one thing is for sure, we can’t wait for November 2017.
