Maleficent starlet Angelina Jolie and her kids shared an adventurous feast. The 41-year-old actress and her children have been filming in Cambodia on Jolie’s passion project ‘First they killed my father’. They decided to grab some meal in a local cuisine where BBC’s Yalda Hakim joined them. The meal included cooking bugs and spiders. Jolie’s kids were extremely fascinated. “See the hard part where you have the teeth? Take the fangs out,” Jolie stated, showing her twins Knox and Viviene the teeth of the spiders. A video was made while Jolie showed her kids how to cook the bugs. The kids tossed the bugs in the skillet. It was their first time trying out a dish as unique as the bugs. “I first had them when I was first in country,” Jolie informed the media. “Crickets, you start with crickets. Crickets and a beer, and then you kind of move up to tarantulas,” added Angelina, instructing her kids on how to cook them. She asked her 10-year-old Shiloh if she wanted to share a spider with her, to which Shiloh responded by picking up a bigger bug without any hesitation. Angelina remarked that scorpion was hard to chew. When the kids were asked that how did the bugs taste, little Knox was quick to add that the bugs tasted like ‘dry flavourless chips’. For Angelina and her kids, that was one fine evening where they spend some quality family time together bonding over unique food items. According to sources, previously when Jolie was asked about her divorce from Brad Pitt, she stated, “I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.”
