LONDON: Amy Jackson met British filmmaker Andy Morahan at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. He was looking for a main lead for his Indo-British co-production and signed up Amy for the role. Andy expressed that he thinks Amy is perfect for the role of Nimisha in the movie, who makes a Indo-British teenager Pavan fall for her. Ankush Khanna plays the role of Pavan, who faces identity crisis in modern London, but falls for a white lady during a themed exhibition party set in 1970’s. The plotline develops into Pavan’s obsession for Nimisha as well as the music and the fashion of 70’s. Amy is enthralled about her new project. “It’s a big film for me. The story is different and has a unique Parisian feel. I am excited to be a part of an English film,” Amy stated. The principle photography will take place in London. Roshan Seth, Aston Merrygold and Jerry Pears will be joining Amy Jackson for the shooting that starts in summer.
