MASSACHUSETTS: John Berry passed away on this Thursday, as reported by the Rolling Stone magazine, at the age of 52 in Massachusetts. He was the founder of the iconic American hip-hop band ‘The beastie boys’. While talking to the magazine, John’s father told that, he suffered from a disease called Dementia that recently became worse than before. John named the band himself in 1981 when the band was formed and was the founding-first member of Beastie boys. According to the magazine, John played guitar on the band’s first seven-inch EP, “Polly Wog Stew,” recorded in 1982, but left shortly after, before the group moved from punk to hip hop music. After he left the band, he became the member of numerous lesser known bands, Rolling stone added.
