‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ hero Ranbir Kapoor has been working on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic based on his controversial life. In order to look like him, Ranbir has bulked up and he informed the media that he has never gained so much weight. “It has been an inspiring journey for me to be playing Sanjay Dutt for the silver screen. I have never put on so much weight before and now plan to reduce some weight for the next phase of shooting,” Ranbir commented. Director Raj Kumar Hirani is going to portray seven different phases of Sanjay Dutt’s life, which begins from the age of 22 onwards. “It’s amazing to be working with a director like Rajkumar Hirani,” Ranbir added. During the interview, Ranbir was asked about the kind of an impact that technological gadgets have, for example, how virtual reality would impact on going to cinema. Ranbir expressed his fear that due to the usage of these gadgets, he feels that people will quit going to cinema. Ranbir praised ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ cast members for their acting skills and added that ‘content is king’ focusing on the plotline.
