Education campaigner and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has disclosed that she and her mother loved watching Pakistani romantic drama film ‘Bin Roye’. ‘Bin Roye’ starring Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed is the third highest-grossing Pakistani film. The youngest Nobel laureate made the disclosure on Twitter in response to Mahira Khan’s birthday wish. “Thank you @theMahiraKhan. My mother and I loved watching Bin Roye. You are just amazing!” she Tweeted. Malala Yousafzai celebrated her 20th birthday with displaced children in war-hit Iraqi city of Mosul on Wednesday. Many top celebrities including Emma Watson and Khan greeted Yousafzai on her birthday. “Happy birthday @Malala! Show us the way. More power to you. Pride and love always x,” Khan said. ‘Bin Roye’ (Without Crying) is a 2015 Pakistani romantic drama film directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri. The film is produced by Momina Duraid and stars Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Armeena Khan, Zeba Bakhtiar, Javed Sheikh and others. One of the movie’s songs is directed by Haissam Hussain. ‘Bin Roye’ is based on the original novel Bin Roye Ansoo by Farhat Ishtiaq. The film was released worldwide on July 18, 2015, the day of Eidul Fitr. ‘Bin Roye’ was praised by the critics. It is the third highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time behind ‘Waar’ and ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’. ‘Bin Roye’ was later adapted into a television series with the same name, that premiered on Hum TV on October 2, 2016.
