ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) plans to organise a musical evening, Bathak, featuring Pashto and Cholistani singers on January 18. A PNCA official informed media that the folk artists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Cholistan would be performing on the occasion. He said that that a massive number of people from twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi would attend the Bathak. He added that the event intended to promote classical music of the country. The official said, “PNCA has scheduled several courses of classical music to educate the young talent from across the country.”
