LOS ANGELES: Former National Hockey League (NHL) star and ex husband of actress Hilary Duff, Mike Comrie, has become embroiled in a rape case. According to sources, the alleged victim claimed that she met Comrie at a bar on a Saturday night and they went back to his place, where he raped her multiple times. The woman stated that she had gone to Cedars Sinai Medical center nearby and gotten a rape kit administered. Comrie informed media that he had known the woman for a long time. He accepted that they had had sex but also insisted that she had given her full consent for sexual intercourse, insisting that it wasn’t a case of rape.
