LAHORE: Renowned fashion and lifestyle brand Chen One’s Pareesa lawn has already made its presence felt among masses in all the years it’s been in the market. Unlike So Kamal’s shift from teaming up with a designer for their lawn to slowly individualising their brand to in-house designing, Pareesa is always spearheaded by an independent fashion designer. With most women preferring big labels for their choice of lawn outfits, Pareesa is consistent in bringing forth designs that are bright, summery, distinct and unique in their own way, thus creating a niche for itself amidst all the lawn madness in the market. With Abdullah Khan on board with Pareesa for the second year, there are dominant pastel shadows, subtle floral prints, summery colour combinations as well as statement structures on the front and back. With the exception of a few bold prints, Pareesa under its “Rung Mausam Nay Tumse Liye” campaign has introduced simple and sophisticated designs to be worn all season long. Pareesa Spring/Summer 2017 lawn collection launch event was held on Friday at La Atrium, organised and arranged by the creative team behind Bilal Mukhtar Events & PR. “Pareesa always brings out something different and this time their collection consists of rich textures and dainty details, bringing out a sense of power, femininity and a desire to stand out,” Bilal Mukhtar said, while talking exclusively to Daily Times. Staying true to its ethos of making a woman feel comfortable, trendy and cool during the summer, this year as well, Pareesa focuses on subtle to bright colours, rare embellishments and minimal embroideries. One key highlight of the collection remains, that there is nothing fancy, after all, it is only lawn and so the price bracket also falls in the affordability segment, so for your dinners and other formal engagements, there are semi formals to shop for with complimenting prices.
