LOS ANGELES: Once Hollywood's most cherished couple, Angelina Jolie Pitt and Brad Pitt have signed an agreement to keep details of their divorce under wraps according to reports.
The distraught film stars have "signed accords to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and appointing a private judge to make the necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the quick resolution of any remaining issues," they said in a joint statement.
“The parents are committed to act as a united front for effective recovery and reunification”, they stated
Some episodes of Jolie and Pitt’s sour public divorce and custody battle over their children have played out on television and in the tabloids.
Jolie Pitt, 41, filed papers in court to end their marriage back in September and is currently seeking sole custody of the couple's six children.
Pitt was cleared by the FBI and social workers over allegations that he struck one of his children during a flight from France to Los Angeles.
Pitt, 53, who won a best film Oscar for producing ‘12 Years a Slave’, is seeking joint legal and physical custody.
He has been granted visits supervised by a therapist as part of a temporary custody agreement.
Under the current arrangement, Jolie has physical custody of the children three of whom are adopted.
The darlings of the silver screen, given the celebrity nickname "Brangelina" got married two years ago in France but had been together since 2004.
