Bollywood and TV stars glam  up the event


The 23rd Lions Gold Awards held in Mumbai were a star-studded affair. The event was graced by many popular celebrities from Bollywood and the television industry.

Lions Gold Awards are an initiative to recognise and felicitate outstanding talent from various fields like films and television, sports, medicine, entertainment, construction, etc. It was organised with a view to support and encourage Swachh Bharat - Clean India.

Bollywood biggies like Aishwarya Rai, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Bajwa, Harshvardhan Rane and Govinda along with television personalities like Disha Vakani, Dilip Joshi, Kushal Tandon, Erica Fernandez, Shaheer Sheikh, Namil Paul, Ruhanika Dhawan, Nikita Dutta, Remo D'souza and many were present to grace the award ceremony.

At the event, Aishwarya Rai won the award for Best Actress for her film 'Sarabjit'; on the other hand Tiger Shroff was awarded with Young Star of the Year. Superstar Govinda was felicitated with the Entertainer of the Decade award. TV actor Kushal Tandon got the Best Actor award for serial 'Behad' whereas Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani received the awards for Best Comic Actors 2016. 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' fame Ruhanika Dhawan was also spotted posing for the shutterbugs with her award.

The Lions Gold Awards is an accolade given by the Lions Club Mumbai to recognise excellence in Indian film and television industry.
