Surprise! There was a greater reason behind singer and songwriter Rihanna’s guest appearance during DJ and singer Calvin Harris’s Coachella set two weeks ago. The two have a new song “This is what you came for,” which released yesterday. Oh, and singer and songwriter Taylor Swift is just as excited as we are! Calvin Harris and his girlfriend Taylor Swift announced it together on social media, the day before that. And, it turns out, Swift teased the artwork weeks ago, when she arrived at Coachella Sneaky. Harris and Rihanna first collaborated on “We found love” together back in 2011. Harris first Tweeted news of the collaboration and then, Swift reTweeted it. Plus, she took to Instagram and said “OMG.” Rihanna hasn’t said anything about the new song yet, but we can only imagine she’s just as excited to be releasing the hot track. What’s interesting is that, the symbol on, what may or may not be the cover art is the same symbol we saw on the back of Swift’s jacket, when she was dancing in the audience at Coachella. Initially, fans suspected Swift and Harris may have been working on a song together. She was there to support her man Harris and his surprise guest, Rihanna on April 17, but now we know she was also promoting the new single without anyone even knowing it! He, obviously, brought out Rihanna as his special guest at Coachella to get people excited for the song he was already working on with the “Work” singer. We can’t wait to hear what they created!
