Sir: Pakistan is today confronted with a plethora of socioeconomic problems, but unfortunately nothing genuine at any level is being done to address these ever increasing problems. Unless we improve education and healthcare standards, remove hatred rooted in ethnicity and sectarianism, get away from income disparities, the country will not progress in real terms. We will not gain anything from ‘street justice’. Is there anyone who could make a genuine effort to solve these issues devastating Pakistani society? Hashim Abro Islamabad
