Sir: Finally Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif delivered his speech at the U.N General Assembly. While is address did talk about how without resolving the Kashmir dispute peace could not be imagined in the region. However, he did not mention anything about the constant Indian interference in Balochistan and Karachi. He could have talked about the revelations made by the RAW agent Kalbhushan Yadav, who was caught by the intelligence agencies. The prime minister should have been more passionate in his remarks about the ongoing brutalities in Kashmir at the hands of the Indian armed forces. Although Pakistani administration has not yet actively partaken in promoting Kashmir cause, world leadership should take notice of the ever-worsening situation in Kashmir. We need to jolt the conscience of the world. More than 70 days have passed but life in the valley is still paralysed by curfews and uncalled military action.I pray that Kashmir tragedy is soon resolved so that they can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
