Sir: The supply of fresh water in our colony at North Nazimabad Town, Karachi is insufficient as water is supplied for barely half an hour daily. During the rainy season, water becomes muddy and filthy. It is unfit for drinking. Most of the households are buying potable water from vendors who charge high rates. It is our request to the concerned authorities to build an underground tank in our colony for storing water and ensure proper treatment of water through filtration plants. I hope that the concerned authorities will take appropriate steps to solve this problem. UROOJ NAQVI Karachi
