Sir: Through the column of your esteemed paper, I want draw attention of the higher authorities to the ban beggary that is fast-creating problems in the busy streets and markets of our city. All public places-roads and markets are thronged with different types of beggaries. They include young, old men and old women younger boys, girls, blind and lame gather at every traffic-signal they shushed around cars and try to fleece money using different tactics. They distract the attention of drivers and thus cause accidents. Beggar women and children sneak in the crowed place and steal people’s purses, mobiles and another other valuable things. Islam discourages begging, it is the duty of the state to provide basic necessity of the life to its citizens. I should take immediate measure to the responsibilities old and handicapped beggars to provide them jobs to the young girls and send small children to school. SHAYHAQ NOOR Kech
