Sir: In baking hot summer, it was astonishing to see Pakistani gentleman selling the water bottles which cost of one Rayal on the road especially at city’s main signal points in Saudi Arabia. Owing to current situation in Saudi Arabia, decline of many construction-related jobs and also implementation of new rules and reforms regarding the saudisation, leads to many expatriates specially Pakistanis start suffering and even striving to sustain their lives which cause of immense embarrassment and low self-esteem as a Pakistani. Being contributing the major part of GDP, concern authorities should require to take an immediate and stringent action to regulate a mechanism for compensation these poor fellows and support them for reconciliation. We must step forward to save them, their families as well as prestige of our beloved country before it’s too late. TAUSEEF NAZ ARSHAD Saudia Arbia Published in Daily Times, August 10th 2017.
