Sir: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif recently inaugurated the metro bus project in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Initially, the project was announced for Karachi but later on it was shifted to Rawalpindi. A budget of around Rs 30 billion has been allocated for this mega project. I would advise the authorities that rather than investing such a huge amount on a specific route for limited people, they should spend this money to improve and develop the entire public transport structure in the twin cities. That would definitely end the monopoly of the transport mafia and provide cheap and reliable transport to the maximum number of people. Junaid Riaz Lahore
