Sir: There is not a single man or woman in Pakistan who does not want to agree with the development and progress in the country. All the political parties have a common agenda on this issue. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif always emphasis and claims that PML(N) stands for Progress and Development of the country. Mian brothers link the country’s progress with their own government. They never shy away from blaming political opponents for creating hurdles in the way of the government’s agenda. He expressed the thought that it was in the interest of democracy to have confrontation with the institutions. He said we have agreed to pursue all the legal option to challenge the Court’s decision. I think he has realised that confrontation with the institutions will not get them anywhere. They stand to lose such a battle. The government has neglected the education and health sectors. Its priorities are not straight and lack direction and proper planning. He claimed that transparency and service are the hallmark of their government. He realised that it was in their interest to conciliate and have good relations with the institutions. The crux of his talk revolved around this realisations.
