Sir: Karachi is a very densely populated city of Pakistan, and regularly witnesses many traffic accidents. The gas cylinders used in public buses are a major reason behind many of these accidents. In Karachi, the owners of most buses have converted their buses from diesel to gas kits, to save a few thousand rupees. However, no regard is shown towards saving human lives by securing the cylinders. Furthermore, these gas cylinders also have a date of validity, after which they should be scrutinized for maintenance. Nevertheless, these bus drivers do not bother to adopt thee measures. I request the Chief Minister of Sindh, Interior Minister of Sindh and IG Karachi to put a ban on the usage of these CNG cylinders in buses to save the lives of citizens and provide them a safe journey. AZIZ ULLAH Karachi
