Sir: It is an established fact that no country in their right mind would actually deploy terrorist launch pads at their borders. Hence, it’s safe to assume that Pakistan would not have done that either along the Line of Control (LoC), which is one of the highest guarded borders around the world. It is a pity to say that the Indian prime minister has some enviable amount of guts to feed his public white lies. His stance over Kashmir in the UN General Assembly has been nothing short of idiotic and frankly, Sushma Swaraj’s claims on the Uri attack do not deserve a moment of recognition, let alone a response to all the nonsensical rhetoric she spewed at the UN podium. The Indian government’s decision to pull out of the Saarc summit of this year may be a testimony to the fact that India does not want to progress in terms of regional peace and tranquility and their excuses for wanting to wage war on Pakistan are ones that perhaps even the Indian establishment does not understand, as is evident by the way they come up with hyperbole on a daily basis. It is high time that the Indian government stops blaming Pakistan for its own failures and learns to own up to their mistakes. Modi gathered votes on the basis of his extremist views without realising that when the time for war comes and when his country starts taking the hits and blows he’s inflicted on it, he will be the first to go down. But he can rest be assured that if forced into war, Pakistan has ample amount of stamina to live and fight. We are a country that has been looted and plundered by corrupt politicians for as long as most of us remember, and if we survived horrors like those, we sure could give any threat a run for cover.
