PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli has said problems faced by labourers in the province would be solved on priority basis and all efforts will be made to protect rights of labours and workers. She expressed these views in a meeting with a delegation of “Muttahida Mazdoor Alliance (MMA), which met her on Tuesday. The delegation was headed by Engineer Haidar Zaman, while Ibrarullah, Ihsanullah,Shakil Waheedullah,Inayat Khan and others attended the meeting. During the meeting matters pertaining to the restoration of 144 dismissed workers of Pakistan Tobacco Company Nowshera and other issues of workers of Philip Morris were discussed in detail. Anisa Zeb said neither she was not aware of dismissal of workers and she will not left the issue insolvable. She said she apprised herself about the viewpoints of factory management as well as workers and hope that an amicable solution for the restoration of the labor workers would be sought. She said as a minister of labor, she would work day and night for the development and welfare of the hardworking segment of the society.
