PESHAWAR: The Jinnah College for Women (JCW) stood once again at top by clinching almost all the top positions in bachelor examinations. A total of 33,400 candidates appeared in the BA, BSc examinations, amongst which 10,100 were declared as successful with a passing percentage of 30 per cent. As always the girls outshined the boys in the bachelors examination by securing all three top positions in both BA and BSc. Ms. Sara Nihar of the JCW got overall first position and she also stood first in B.Sc examinations. She was followed by Ms. Shahzadi Zohra Gul and Ms. Nazish Naeem both from Jinnah College for Women who took third position by securing 472 respectively. In the Bachelor of Arts category Ms. Hira Farooq of JCW secured first position, followed by Ms. Ghania Mubarak of Army Burn Hall College Abbottabad who took second position while Ms. Ayesha Jaffar of JCW secured third position in the Bachelor of Arts category. Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan was the chief guest of the event and gave away merit certificates, cash prizes and University shields to the position holder students. He announced free education for all the position holder students upon their pursuing higher studies in the University of Peshawar.
