PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police, Nasir Khan Durrani, has rewarded money and certificates to Swat Police officials on excellent performance in recovering a three-year old kidnapped child in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar. As per reports, some unidentified men kidnapped a three-year old minor Hayan Ali resident of Saidu Sharif, and demanded Rs 20 million for releasing the child. A special team of Swat Police was constituted to ensure recovery of the abducted. Police said that the kidnappers made ransom calls from different locations. The police team accompanied with the father of abducted child raided Abbottabad, Mansehra and Nowshera after receiving calls from that location. Meanwhile, a special team got a lead on a car bearing heading towards Swat. The police team chased the suspicious car and recovered the boy. The kidnappers were identified as Taj Bibi and Abdul Mateen resident of Logar Afghanistan presently residing in Ghazi Kot Mansehram. While addressing the occasion, the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani appreciated the efforts put by the Swat special police team.
