It was also said that the KP government had allocated around 30 percent of funds to local government. It was only due to a lack of working experience that the local government had been unable to spend all its funds last year, however, these funds had not gone wasted and were instead diverted to several ongoing schemes on district-level. Nevertheless, it was also said that this year the government has the capacity to provide 100 percent funds to local government. The CM then stated that this year the total share for local government was Rs. 33 billion and would be released in four phases.
