MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led opposition in the district government has agreed not to move the Supreme Court against unfair distribution of development funds after successful talks on Sunday. The meeting between PTI and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was arranged by a reconciliatory committee constituted by district nazim Sardar Said Ghulam and leaders of parliamentary parties. The meeting was attended by its chairman and district president of PPP Malik Farooq, district naib nazim Murtaza Tanoli, JUI-F parliamentary leader Malik Naveed, opposition leader in the district council and PTI leaders Shahid Rafique. “This is a great achievement that PTI members in district council would neither tender resignations from council nor would they move the apex court against the distribution of development funds,” Malik Farooq. He said that both PML-N and PTI agreed to take part in the session on April 24 as the former accepted to give equal share to the latter in the developmental funds. He said that all agreed to work for betterment of the people of the district and development funds would be distributed equally among members of the council.
