PESHAWAR: The repatriation process of temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) due to operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan Agency was progressing smoothly, as 1,310 affected families have returned to different villages of Sararogha tehsil during the last three days under the Pakistan Army’s supervision. Political Agent Zafarul Islam Khattak and Col Imran were personally supervising the shifting of the families at Kharkai Camp. The repatriation process started on July 20, which saw a total of 444 families returning to their native areas. Moreover, 333 families returned on July 21 and 533 on July 22. In a brief chat with local reporters, the political agent said that the affected families were returning to their homes cleared by the security forces.
