MARDAN: The district nazim Hamayatullah Mayar given grant of one million to Pashto department of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) for the publication of books and reimbursement of fee for the students of the department. According to a hand out released by the department of Pashto AWKUM Hamayatullah Mayar had promised that district government will reimburse half of the fee of the first batch of the students admitted to the department. Vice Chancellor of AWKUM Professor Ihsan Ali was the also present on the occasion received the cheque of one million. Speaking to the participants of the function VC Ihasan Ali praised the nazim for its pen friendly activities at district education institutes.
