TAKHTBHAI: The former leader of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) Peshawar region on Thursday protested against the irregularities of the party leaders with poor workers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province. The District leaders from five regions joined hands in Charsadda to stage protest in the leadership of former joint Secretary Nadeem Shah. The ex party office holders along with a number of PTI workers participated to take a word on the injustice been done with the workers of PTI in spite the high claims from the Central leadership as will from the government officials of KP Government. The PTI Regional leaders threaten to strict action if the demands were not meets on time. Due to long cold period among the party leadership and silence over the layout of new regional party structure workers of the ruling party has started struggle to meet their demands. Now the news of tussle and tension in relations within the party organization came on surface in which certain leaders have termed the Government officials to hold back their hands while interfering in the party affairs, as it was learnt that few influential people had took hold of the realm of affairs while other party members were deprived to attain basic facilities. The hundreds of Insafians from five districts of Peshawar gathered to construct reforms committee regarding mishaps in the constitution of party manifesto. The mob put three demands before the party chairman Imran Khan in which they demanded for Intra party elections, to pass order for possession of one office for PTI leaders, either government or political and to put ban on the family members of committee to contest elections. The meeting was addressed by Ashraf Ali Khattak, Zahid Hussain Mohmand, Haider Ali Khan, Brigadier Arif, Peer Ijaz, Yusuf Ali, District Councilor Shahid Siraj, Dr Hafiz Rehman. The Speakers said that the party leaders need to keep the poor party workers in eyes while deciding about the party offices and fixing jobs for the needy Insafians. They added that Party Chairman needs to take notice of trust depict been created among the workers of PTI. The Imran Khan promised with the youth to take care about the rights of poor party workers while his own party sabotages the rights of needy people and few wealthy people have took hold of the party affairs in the province from over two years. The Speakers demanded an end to the involvement of government officials in party affairs as will termed the need to construct Reforms Committees in order to keep close check and balance on the elected members on the party tickets. They also demanded for an end to party involvement in the distribution of party office tickets and have called to put ban on the family member of those who were selected to be in the committees to distribute seats for National and Provincial assemblies. The Speakers said that the PTI workers would prove to be Tsunami if their demands were not meet and will stage Dharna to Inform the High Ups of Central Party leadership about the irregularities been made here on the name of establishing pro justice Party of Pakistan. Pakhtuns: Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Ameer Haider Hoti said on Thursday that Pakhtuns would confront numerous challenges in future if they did not unite. Addressing party workers in Topi city, Kalabat and Zarobai, Hoti said that Pakhtuns have been passing through difficult times and they need to unite and work for their upcoming generation. He said that Pakhtuns should follow the non-violence philosophy of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, who rendered sacrifices for Pakhtuns and guided them in a very difficult period of their history. The former chief minister urged the party workers to work with devotion for party’s success in coming elections. He alleged that due to wrong policies, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led provincial government faces worst financial difficulties and it would face more trouble during the last year of its constitutional term. He said that several projects announced or initiated by the PTI government could not be completed during its constitutional tenure owing to financial crisis. He said the government had also admitted that there were financial problems. Sardar Babak, ANP provincial general secretary, Ameer Rahman, district president, and general secretary Muhammad Islam also spoke.
