Aftab Khan said that Qaumi Watan Party is determined to serve the people of the province and efforts are under way for establishing Construction Machinery Training Institute at an expense of one billion rupees along with establishing Campus of Technical Education University for people of Swabi. The Chairman QWP expressed concerns over the efforts by the federal government to end load-shedding in Punjab by 2018 while ignoring the smaller federating units and stated that similar efforts should be undertaken in KP to upgrade the capacity of transmission lines in order to attract investors and provide them with a conducive environment. “Timely steps should be taken by the federal government to address the issue in order to motivate and attract investors. People of KP and FATA have rendered numerous sacrifices for Pakistan throughout history but no steps have been taken to compensate their sacrifices,” he added. Sherpao also demanded due share of the tribal people in the CPEC project and criticized those attempting to sabotage the integration of FATA with KP for political gains. He termed it a conspiracy against Pakhtun nation. Additionally he appealed to the international organizations to take notice of the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and demanded the settlement of Kashmir issue as per the wishes of people of Kashmir.
