PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has stressed over the modern technology use in the sector of mining in order to increase the productivity of provincial mines and minerals. Imran Khan was attending a high level presentation over the provincial mines and minerals at Chief Minister House Peshawar, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Anisa Zaib Tahirkheli, Jehangir Tareen and officials of the Mining and Mineral departments were also present in the presentation. Anisa Zaib Tahirkheli was imparting the presentation over the capacity of the province in the natural resources. CM Pervez Khattak said that natural resources of the province to be utilized for increasing the volume of the revenue and employments opportunities in the province. Khattak said in a natural resources presentation on the natural resources of the province and its utilization in the best of public here at CM House, Imran Khan was also present in the presentation ceremony. PTI led political government making its level best to make use of the natural resources for increasing provincial assets and skills workers and professional jobs, the CM added. He said plans are ready to make amendments in the mineral rules and a road map would be presented at Beijing in March to make the Chinese firms first contenders to search and develop mechanism of work for digging these resources. The PTI Leader said the government needs to enhance the effort for making the suitable markets for minerals. He stressed on the increase of Scientific methods to increase the yield and productivity. The provincial minister Mineral and development department presented the achievements and goals along the methods and techniques which can not only enhance the yield but also could earn credit for provincial markets in international markets. She said scientific instruments need to be used for long term preservation of natural resources, adding that our department is on the run to make this country towards prosperity. Official website: The Directorate of Human Rights Khyber Pakhtunkhwa formally launched website with the aim to reshape the role and function of the directorate at par with western world. The website was launched in collaboration with Asia Foundation and Minister for Law Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi was the chief guest on the inaugural ceremony of the website, secretary law Muhammad Arifen, director human rights Syed Sarwar Saqlain, additional secretary Dawood and other officials were among notable attendants. Speaking to the participants Law minister Shahid Quarishi claimed that after the website inclusion the role and presence of the human rights directorate would be vibrant for the common man of the society. He said that the directorate was kept at slow pace by the successive governments of the province but time has come to make it a centre place for the public to address human rights cases. The present government was well aware of the importance and significance of the human rights and always welcomes those governmental and nongovernmental human rights organization to come forward and play its due role for ensuring the rights of the human in the province. Imtiaz Qureshi urged the civil society, masses, and students of the discipline and media to extend its relation and share their information and data with directorate through its website for the larger interest of human rights and academia purpose. The directorate will have its separate building in a few months in the province and slowly and steady its circle of offices will be extended to other districts and tehsils of the province he added. The KP government has never been lagging behind to work and legislate for human rights and all possible laws would be framed in the future content.
