PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said on Tuesday that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report in Mashal Khan case has vindicated our reservations and pointed out that the said report shall be thoroughly probed. In a statement here he said that the JIT report has been endorsed by the victim family as it has not only brought all the spectrum of the gory incident to the fore, but has also exposed the causes of the case. He demanded that JIT report shall be implemented in letter and spirit and all responsible elements shall be brought to justice. He said that JIT report was of vital importance that exposed the credentials and working of the local administration and Adbul Wali Khan University. He added that both had been remained dysfunctional to perform their duty and come up to the expectation of the public. He asserted that the slackness and indifference of the administration should be dealt with an iron hand. He said that an education institution are supposed to provide quality education and play role in character building of the youth but the Mashal Khan incident has brought the bad name of the University before the people. Therefore he demanded that this educational institution should be put on such a line to prepare the students for the 21st century. He assured the victim family that Qaumi Watan Party would firmly stand with them in this time of trail and tribulation.
