Complaint cell at KP CM’s   House receives appreciation


PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell successfully redressed a number of public grievances/complaints by actively pursuing them with the quarters concerned.

A complaint regarding delay in payment was lodged by Shahid Iqbal, dealer Choice International, who supplied IT equipment to the Government Degree College, SK Bala Bannu. The matter was taken up with the Higher Education Department and payment was released.

Similarly, pending pension case of a widow from Swat, Sabira Nisa, widow of late Jalaluddin, had been taken up with the District Account Office Swat. The complaint has now been redressed successfully.

Likewise, Hayat Khan of Tajori Lakki Marwat lodged a complaint regarding his delay in appointment as Primary School Teacher due to non-verification of degree. The matter was taken up with the authorities concerned. The complainant has been appointed as Primary School Teacher.

Moreover, Khurram Shahzad of Mohallah Amin Abad Noor Colony, Haripur lodged a complaint against TIP Police Chowki and Thana City for not taking action on FIR. The said complaint was forwarded to DPO Haripur.

In response, the abductee, Tehreem Javed, has been recovered and all the accused persons have been arrested and sent to Central Jail Haripur on Judicial remand.

A female resident of Madyan lodged a complaint against her brother for denying inheritance. Both the parties were called to the Compliant Cell and the matter has been resolved amicably.

Mr. Zahid Hussain S/O Fazal Hussain resident of Jehangirpura, Peshawar lodged a complaint against Patwari for taking Rs.1, 37000/- extra for registration of Intiqal. The said amount recovered and handed over to the complainant.

A resident of Nishtar Abad Sikandar Pura, Peshawar also lodged a complaint for possession of house in Peshawar. After negotiation, both the parties agreed to give the possession of the said house to real owner. Thus, the matter has been redressed successfully.

A resident of Harichand District Charsadda lodged a complaint regarding stoppage of road construction by an influential man.

The Complaint Cell refereed the case to Secretary Irrigation for further necessary action under the law/rules by C&RC. In response, Secretary Irrigation convened a Jirga to discuss the issue.

The Jirga decided to construct 15 feet wide black top road so the said complaint has thus been redressed successfully.
