KHYBER AGENCY: A free medical camp was organised at the Pak-Afghan Torkham Border Crossing for the Afghan refugees repatriating to Afghanistan by the Khyber Rifles (KF) on Saturday. Dr Mustajab Alam, who was the head of the medical team, said that the free camp was established on the directions of Inspector General of Frontier Corps (IGFC). “The purpose of the camp is to provide free medical assistance to the Afghan refugees who are returning to their country after spending many years in Pakistan. This medical camp is a gift to them by the FC”. Dr Mustajab added that they examined more than 200 Afghan patients suffering from different ailments on the first day of the camp. “The patients were also provided with free medicines and medical tests,” he said. The refugees thanked the government and specially Pakistan Army for arranging free medical treatment.
