ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) has paid a glowing tribute to 1965 war martyrs at a ceremony held in connection with Defence Day of Pakistan at one of its schools. Speaking on the occasion, OPF Board of Governor Chairman Barrister Amjad Malik expressed hope that future generations of the country would safeguard motherland against any aggression. He lauded the OPF’s school management for holding the ceremony. Amjad Malik said, “It was a matter of great pleasure for me that the OPF schools and colleges had not only showed outstanding performance in curriculum activities but played a vital role in sports and culture activities also.” Earlier, Shaheena Masood, the principal at the respective OPF school, in her address, said, “Our students have set a magnificent educational record thanks to the hard work of teachers and students devotion that have made the OPF institution a custodian of excellent traditions which is a matter of proud for us.”
